Our current machines cannot fit the extra length of the XL, we have ordered new machines already and they should be here in about two weeks. So V4 TorqueDrive XL is delayed but R is shipping. Axles are here, we are organizing the parts and planning the production. Building should commence any time. We have signed and put downpayment on our new facility, moving there this week. This is big, we have purchased our own CNC machines! This is to not only speed up production but to also avoid getting parts that do not fit. The axles for V4 SpeedDrives R and XL are arriving this Friday. Building of the V4SD will now proceed. The V4SD will also be shipped to Long Haired Boy. Starting Monday, we will contact 10 customers and confirm everything in their order, including the shipping address. The customer should reply to this email. We will not ship your order unless you reply to us. We will then contact another 10 customers every Monday since. Hey guys, so here's the update on the SpeedDrive R and XL. First the good news. We now have both the "sensored" stators for XL (left) and R (right). So both motors can now be assembled.  We also had the axles heat-treated so that they will be even stronger. The center square dimension was 11.9mm before heat-treatment. Now for the bad news. Because of heat-treatment, the axles expanded and do not fit inside the hangers anymore. So we already sent them back to the machine shop to do minor facing operation on them. Hey guys, I'm sure most of you already know that the Esk8 community lost a distinguished, pioneering and selfless member. For us, we lost a personal and dear friend.
